Slant of Light is a three-piece consisting of Foley on guitar and vox, Kevin Harvey on standup-bass, mandolin, and harmonies, and Aaron Zak playing drums, banjo, and harmonies (all at the same time, believe it or not). While the three members hold very different musical tastes individually, together they create a blend of rock, Americana, bluegrass and folk, with original songs influenced by the likes of Tom Waits, Devil Makes Three and Gillian Welch. Currently, Slant of Light is working on a third record, restructuring its set for Boston area shows this fall, and have an East coast tour under their belt.
